It features a solid joiner and 2 stainless screws so its ready to put together after you receive it. the 30″ Original SkimmerStik will be the last hole skimmer you will need and o ya you can leave your bump board at home. A SkimmerStik is a hand made and durable multi-purpose ice skimmer that is made from a broken composite hockey stick (saving from landfill) with rust proof/weatherproof, non toxic hardware.. It features a 24″ high visibility scale and measuring hook that creates an accurate 24″ bump board for measuring fish and also can be used as an ice depth measuring gauge to make sure your safe and if you get a keeper you can settle him down with a knock on the ‘noggin’. The 4 1/2″ soft plastic scoop will work with both 6″ and 8″ holes and will not freeze up like metal.
